about me!

i'm a 24 y/o male from venezuela!!! i love the internet but hate its current state, so i decided to teach myself coding and make a website like the ones i used to enjoy in my childhood. you can read more about that in my manifesto. i've wanting to get into the habit of writing, too, so making this site is kind of an excuse to just write stuff, and share it to the world!!!

i'm majoring in psychology (though i've never been very keen on that field) and i also did a small film course. i have many interests (maybe too many), but all in all i like learning about stuff every day. the world is a complex and beautiful place, i want to experience it to its fullest and understand it as much as possible before i die!!!

  • watching horror movies (specially the trashy ones)
  • the color brown
  • retro tech and games
  • people who aren't afraid of being different

things i dislike:

  • malicious gossiping
  • the heat (because it makes me all sweaty)
  • people with a lack of empathy
  • most social media apps
  • imagine dragons (worst band EVER!!!)
  • mindless internet drama
  • cynicism (even though i can be a little bit cynical sometimes...)
  • gender roles (and those who enforce them)
  • people who care too much about social status
  • the kind of talk where you don't state what you want but rather imply it ("wow, those cookies you're eating sure look tasty!" instead of "can i have a bite?")
  • eating arepas (most of the time)
  • getting ads shoved down my face on the internet
  • toxic positivity and social media stoicism
  • those kind of games where you 100% need a wiki to even know what you're doing!!!
