my personal rating scale!

i've uploaded a new post to the "writings" section: my personal rating scale!

i've been using sites like rateyourmusic and letterboxd for a loooong time, and for some reason i ended up taking my rates way too seriously lol. my brain likes to categorise the works i liked and the works i didn't like, and for some reason having a neatly organised scale like this one feels really good to me. i always say our experiences with art are subjective yet i really care about giving every work a specific number and not an spontaneous one :p

so here it is! this is what every single one of my rates mean. every time people get annoyed when i give a 3.5 to a critically acclaimed movie, i will link them that scale so they can understand that to me a 3.5 rate is not bad at all -_- lol!
